The Percussion Studies program at UT Austin is committed to developing superb musicianship through performance and a deep, fundamental understanding of music and human learning. The flexible, rigorous undergraduate and graduate curricula help students become confident performers, knowledgeable musicians, skillful teachers, and productive individuals who are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in all dimensions of professional life.

Justin Ochoa (Junior) will be attending the Texas Music Festival this summer!
Cameron Marquez (Freshman) will be playing vibraphone with the 2018 Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps
Daniel Gostein (Freshman) will be playing vibraphone with the 2018 Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps
John Dawson (Freshman) will be the timpanist for the 2018 Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps
Kazuomi Motoike (Senior) has advanced the semi-finals round of the Great Plains International Marimba Competition
Oni Lara (DMA) has advanced to the semi-finals round of the Great Plains International Marimba Competition, and also won a position in the Brit Music Festival
Nicole Robbins (MM) will be performing with the Classical Music Institute and attending SōSI this summer!
