Jared Lantzy is a Texas native, hailing from Abilene, who currently lives in DFW where he enjoys a diverse musical life and spends the rest of his time raising his 3 awesome boys with his beautiful wife. Jared received his degrees from Texas Tech University & DePaul University and has held positions with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, the Louisiana Philharmonic and University of Hawaii Manoa. As a freelance musician, Mr. Lantzy has performed with such groups as the Houston Symphony, Houston Grand Opera, St. Louis Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Ft Worth Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, Oregon Bach Festival, Dallas Chamber Musicians, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, New Mexico Symphony, Elgin Symphony, Northwest Indiana Symphony, South Bend Symphony, International Chamber Artists, Waco Symphony, Lubbock Symphony, Abilene Philharmonic, Wichita Falls Symphony, Plano Symphony and Roswell Symphony among others. He currently performs with ROCO brass quintet in Houston and is a member of NTX4 trombone quartet. Jared is also the proprieter of Edwards House DFW and is an Edwards instruments performing artist.
